From Blueprint to Reality
nIt started with a simple observation: the Gulf Coast needed steel buildings that actually held up to our environment. Back in 2008, founders Michael K. and Sarah L. were working on retrofitting warehouses across Baldwin County. They kept running into the same problem — structures brought in from out of state were rusting within years, buckling under storm pressure, or simply not designed for our humidity.
They realized that Alabama businesses and homeowners deserved better. So they started Coastal Steel Buildings with a singular mission: construct metal structures engineered specifically for southeastern conditions, using American-made materials, and backed by local support that actually means something.
Today, we've completed over 500 projects across the Gulf Coast. But that core philosophy? It hasn't changed. Every beam, every bolt, every project still gets the same attention to detail it did back when we were fitting out our first warehouse.
